Join us at Crystal Lake Park for the 21st Annual Human Kinetics Twin Cities Twosome! All proceeds from the race are donated to local charities, including the Center for Women in Transition, the T.I.M.E.S Center and Crisis Nursery. Over the race’s history, more than $100,000 has been donated to charity.

A Laugh-Out-Loud Musical
A laugh-out-loud musical that tells the story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. It’s not your ordinary neighborhood, but together Princeton and his new friends find jobs, dates and their purpose in life. The Season Is Upon Us!
Market at the Square, a mainstay of Urbana’s Saturday morning activities since the late 1970s, is home to over 160 vendors, all of whom grow or create their own fresh produce, plants, and flowers, farm products such as meat, cheeses, and eggs, honey, fresh baked goods and other prepared foods, as well as a wide variety of art and crafts. Watch this month’s Art Now! for an interview with Jeff Dare, director of Avenue Q, and Michael Galloway, managing director of the Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company (CUTC). Avenue Q will be performed May 17-20 at the Parkland College Theatre and has won Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book. “Part flesh, part felt and packed with heart. Avenue Q is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, it’s clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood.
